the best plates EVER

let's be honest. DI is the coolest place in all of provo. i love it so very much. my new favorite place is the dish section, where you can find absolute bargains... such as these lovely plates! i really wanted the caserole dish that came with it, but i waited too late and now it is gone. you might ask why i care about some strawberry plates. well, it is simple! a) they are cool. b) my great-grandma phebe had these dishes! now that is cool...

if anyone wants biscuits and strawberry jam, just come on over! =)

engagements!

engagement pictures are great fun! we took ours a couple of weeks ago with robert dyer (he's great)! we took some in his studio, where it wasn't freezing. then we went to this really great park area with barns and lots of animals. ha... there were bunnies following us around that were quite friendly with each other. here is a peek of some pictures from robert's facebook! enjoy!

ward residence numero uno

we just wanted to let you all know that we've found a perfect little place to live. it is just south of campus. it is a two story two bedroom house for a great steal. =) it is charming, in that it is tiny. so tiny that adam can stand up and touch the ceiling with his head. but that is ok because it is great, it's all ours, and it's fun. so here is a mini, pre-fixed-up tour for you! yay!

first stop, our front door. here it is! lovely number five. please note that charming little white bench, perfect for pesto and pasta in the spring. also, note the red wall isn't as cute in real life, but hey. it's cool anyways.


so welcome to our front room. we are repainting all of the rooms, but this one will be a tannish/cream colored color. with white window frames. also, see that little shelf in the background? well that will have games, dvds, pictures,and other delights. now if you turn to the right, there is a great storage place under the stairs. happy day.here is the one place that adam has to duck. foolish random plank in our living room. that's ok. he plans on crawling anyways.
here is part one of our kitchen. the little BABY stove in the corner is gas, so that is new and exciting. it works, i witnessed today. we also have a fridge, which is exciting. that extinguisher is for when adam cooks. just kidding, he's great.
i didn't want to take a full picture of part two of our kitchen because our landlord was painting in the corner and i felt awkward. but here is our table! yay! the other two chairs are pushed off to the side. part two of the kitchen includes a small wall of cupboards and counter space. it's great. =)
so come up our bitty stairs...
and turn to the left. here is the bedroom. right to the left is closet space... and if you turn to the right...
here is the bathroom! he is redoing the floor (with tiles)! woo!

and now here is the "hallway" space that links the bedroom to the study. please note that we are redoing the floors. they are going to be fake hardwood floors. i am not quite sure what that means... but apparently they will look like hardwood floors. so that is cool. come on in to our study...
here we are! it's great. and our landlord is including a desk. if you look to the left, there is a tiny little shelf that is in the wall. i am enfatuated with it, even though it has no practical purposes. haha.

the end! don't you just love it? isn't this the best thing ever? i was going to wait to show you this on monday after the festivities of the weekend were over, but i couldn't wait to show it off.
