baby, momma, and daddy mop
So here is my new life:
I am now in the practicum, which is completely fun! What is a practicum you might ask? Well, let me tell you. We go into the schools for one month and help out/ teach some in a classroom. I am in Orem teaching second grade. It is SO much fun. Yesterday was Dr. Seuss day. Of course I wore my Dr. Seuss shirt and I got to read "There's a Wocket in my Pocket." It was a lot of fun, and I can't wait to be a teacher.
So that is what I do until about 1:30 every day (early mornings aren't my best moments either...)
And now I have a job! Woohoo! So on Mondays and Wednesdays, I have class until 4:00, and then every day I go to my new fabulous job from 4:15 to 8:15. Wanna know what it is? Well, I am now a custodian. Turns out I'm not that great at it. I clean the shops- like the wood, mechanical, and paint shop. I sweep them and mop the lunch rooms and clean the bathrooms, etc. It is kinda a lot of work... I particularly struggle with dumping the water in the mop bucket. I think it weighs more than me. Hopefully I get some muscle in these flabby ol' arms before the bucket takes me along with the water. I have learned that ghetto music literally makes everything better. Mopping is not bad at all when you have Chris Brown making it better. Just saying. Also, I have named all of the mops. It makes it a lot easier to talk about them when they have names. Obviously. Don't believe me? Just ask poor Brett. (He got the job for me). And I don't think he gets what I am talking about when I ask where the mom mop is. =)
Also, fake nails aren't great for the job. Wouldn't recomend it. Just saying.
