living rooms, anniversaries, & psycho trees

hello! guess what? one month ago today, i married adam! best day ever... i sure miss it, but this past month has been great.

we enjoy each others' company at the duck pond. unfortunately, the weather hasn't been too jovial lately, so our picnics, walks, and fun has been postponed until later. i blame myself. i prayed for nice weather on our wedding. i said that it could be awful weather for the rest of the summer... i didn't care. now i kinda care... but i am still glad the weather was perfect one month ago.

so this morning adam told me to look out the window. i did, and this is what i saw.

look closely... indeed, there is a giant piece of the tree on the ground. i guess i was pretty lucky considering it fell where i normally park my car. adam dragged the beast out of the way. best plan would be for that NOT to happen again. thank you crazy snow/rain/slush storm.

plaid family

hello all! today was a lovely saturday full of sun, lemonade, and planting! we went to lowes and bought herbs galore, cherry tomatoes, and lavender to create this mini-fake garden for our front porch! there is another pot of basil, but they are seeds (there wasn't any basil left at the store), so there's no need to show you a pot of dirt. that's boring.


after our planting endeavors, we had lunch on our posh little white bench and sipped on some delectable pink lemonade. =) isn't my husband cute? we are both wearing our plaid shorts (hence the title).

being married

hello everyone! i just wanted to give everyone a quick update about life... so we have decided to go to every utah temple this summer, which could be complicated once we finish the temples in utah valley. =) but we think it will be super fun and a great adventure. so stop one of our temple tour: the provo temple!

we have also been cleaning our new little house. i can only show some of the pictures because the rest of the house isn't unpacked or clean. but here is the bedroom...

hooray! next will be the kitchen. i promise that will be very soon. married life is great... our birthdays were great... everything is just great!
