hello. this is my first angry blog entry. i am just sick to death of some people at byu. for example, when driving, people turn, go fast, go straight, almost hit people, whatever they want. no one thinks twice about it besides obviously me. when parking, people are like vultures. if there is a parking spot, it no longer matters if there was a line waiting to get said parking spot. because you are the most important person in this world, surely you deserve the parking spot. and if there are two parking spots, oh, we have hit the gold mine. because if there are two spots, that means we can take up both to make it impossible for anyone to park next to us. better yet, let's pull forward and take up four parking spaces.
so DUDE who left a note on my car telling me to park BETWEEN the lines because it took longer to get in your car... i am pretty sure it took longer to find a piece of paper, a pen, and write the hate mail. also, in my defense, i parked straight... in relation to the person next to me at the time, who was taking up more than one spot. obviously everyone needs to just simmer down and stop being so STINKING RUDE!

i'm a piranha... i live in the amazon. NOT.
as you probably have noticed (you few loyal readers...), I have not said much lately. i can think of several things to blame- i have been up to my eyes in job applications, homework, and planning. but really, i feel that i have nothing to write about. i feel that blogging should be funny and entertaining. (why so serious?) and yes. my life has been so serious lately. i have done fun things- like i went to see avatar, i went to a great mexican reunion, i registered for my new and exciting house stuff... but nothing has been overwhelmingly great and not-so-serious. until yesterday when i fell on the ice and freaked out. but it's not that big of a deal now. and it surely isn't funny yet.
i have decided that mariah (my dear beta fish) just could never survive in the wild. i have heard that beta fish are supposed to be fearsome creatures that could tear anything up. not my mariah. i think you could put fish steak in her little bowl and she would want nothing to do with it. i fed her tonight and watched her "eat." the dear is so slow! she looked at the fleck of food floating to the bottom of the bowl and then darted about an inch to get it... and missed. what in the world? is my fish blind or dumb or just too chill to care? i have no idea. so basically i now know why that bowl gets so filthy so fast. and i also know that mariah is 100% an indoor fish.
have a great night! love you all!

team jacob
do you know when you have those moments that are just really funny to you? that happens to me a lot... most of the time it is just at an inappropriate time to laugh.
let's say you have a serious teacher for example. he/she might not be prone to laughing along. my bad.
anyways, we were doing an activity where you stand up if you are associated with a certain group of people. (some examples were rich people, muslim people, catholic people, black people...) i pretty much stood up for every category, being that i am from modesto, california-the prime example of melting pot in the united states.
so the last category she gave was if we were associated with native americans. i thought for a bit, and i realized that i don't know any native americans. this was kind of sad for my perfect streak of knowing pretty much all types of people! i said quietly to my group, "does jacob black count?" they thought it was hilarious because they laughed quite loudly... my teacher looked over in my direction and said "anything you would like to share?" and it was awkward because it was only the first day. i am still in the unsure stage of not knowing what teachers will tolerate. so i'm sure i turned bright red and said "does jacob black count?" woops... she rolled her eyes and continued with the class. "but i was just kidding..." awwwkward...
so i guess i learned two things: 1) the arts semester is over and comments of such nature are no longer appreciated. 2) i do not know a non-fictional native american.

winter break
hello friends and family! sorry it has been so long since i last wrote... you see, i was having too much fun during my lovely break. =)

first off, i must say i did quite well last semester. despite the stress of not being able to dance- i didn't fail ballet. haha. i start my next semester in the program tomorrow and i am really excited for everything! i will let you know how my new classes treat me.
anyway, back to the important stuff- break! i did a lot of fun things this break. i went to san francisco with my family to see a museum about king tut. it was so cool! there were so many artifacts from his tomb. mikey felt pretty offended that they were taking all of king tut's fun in the afterlife and putting it on display, but i think he got over it.
here is a picture of mikey baby and i waiting to go into the museum!

my mom and i went on a grand adventure to sacramento to go shopping right before christmas. it was fun and we got a lot of great things. also the traffic was awful, so i was not really into that.
for christmas we went to my grandma's house. i finally got to meet cute little buster! he is so adorable. for those of you who don't know who buster is, he is my aunt and uncle's baby bulldog. he has huge, clumsy paws and his skin is made for a giant bull dog so it looks like he is wearing skin pants. he's great. i had a great christmas with my family. =) i definitely wish i could go back.
(obviously some animals enjoyed christmas more than others... haha)

on sunday my fiancee came to my grandma's house! we had lot's of fun! we went to disneyland with my family. we saw mickey and minnie in the christmas parade and pretty much all of the disney princesses. it was just perfect. for being christmas week, it wasn't too crowded. except for by indiana jones. holy... jamalama. it reminded me of london all over again. let us not forget the stampede by the eye. =)
(here we are at small world...)

(here is the castle at night)
(it even "snowed" after the fireworks show!)
the rest of the break consisted of some serious relaxing. i definitely wish i could keep that life up, but unfortunately the real world exists. i played some mario wii with my family and adam. talk about a hillariously awesome game! if you want days and days of entertainment, just get the wii game that lets four players play on mario. it is so COOL!
well, i figured i would just give you just a brief update on everything before i start this new semester. have a great day everyone! i hope christmas was great! love you all! i'll write soon- i promise. =)
also, here is my website for my wedding. feel free to spread it around. =) of course it isn't finished yet, but at least it's a start. haha.
