so it turns out that provo knows exactly how to celebrate the fourth of july! because it fell on a sunday, provo extended the day into the entire three-day weekend! it has been tons of fun! let me show you what we have been up to for the past four days...
we went to seven peaks...
let me show you the little quail parents that live outside of our house...
we partied at the balloon festival...
it was lovely with tons of colors...
and pig balloons! REALLY!
we had a picnic of sugar cookies while waiting for the stadium of fire fireworks!
the wonderful thing about utah is definitely the beautiful summer sunsets...
on sunday, we enjoyed a delectable bbq of hamburgers...
and some festive fruit for adam...
then adam ran a 10k...
which is more than i could have done. and he got 9th in his division!
we also did a few fireworks... but i failed to get pictures. i have many sparklers leftover...
so i will get some pictures of those.
also, i got a wonderful sewing book... and there are so many fun projects to work on, i just don't know where to start!!!

Your blog looks so, so ADORABLE! Love all the bright colors, and fantastic pictures! So, you went to the Provo Parade and Stadium of Fire? Me, too! Did you see Tarzan? The man playing Tarzan baptized me into the Church! And don't you just LOVE Carrie Underwood?! She totally rocks my rocks!
